Desterro nasceu em janeiro de 2007,quando Gussan (guitarra),chamou Duim (vocal) para monta uma banda,no inicio com uma proposta de fazer um death/thrash metal,foi quando Marcos (bateria) se interresou em entra para banda,ainda não sacando nada de bateria mais assim começou a aprender juntos com Gussan e Duim,anbos nunca tinham tocando em banda,assim desterro começa a compor suas primeiras músicas,uma delas a primeira se chamaria, Alimento da morte,com um riff bem fácil de se decora na mente,acabou sendo uma das mais conhecidas por todos.Desterro ainda sem um baixista para completa sua formação tocava assim mesmo na raça de um verdadeiro headbanger,com o passar do tempo Marcos sai da banda por motivos de trabalho e coisas da vida,assim no ano de 2008 Gussan e Duim conhecem mikeias, chama ele para tocar na banda, dessa fase a banda começa a leva o som mais thrash e se rotulando como uma banda de thrash,mais mikeias nunca foi um cara que levava um som a sério sempre faltava nos ensaios e sempre dava trabalho na hora de tocar em algum lugar,com mikeias o Desterro ainda participa de dois festivais , o metal blood e o hell rock festival,depois de participa do hell rock festival,ouvi mais oportunidade para tocar em outros festivais,como mikeais nunca levava o som a sério,Gussan resolve expulsar ele da banda de modo muito malefico,então Destero passava seus dias parados, ate que no ano de 2009, Gussan conhece Yan(bateria) pela net, e assim a banda volta ativa, com um som mais trabalhado e mais criativo,no mesmo ano paulo ex=NARCAN entra para completa a formação do desterro,mais pouco tempo depois paulo resolve sair por causa de estudos e trabalho, e por mais uma vez o Desterro ficar sem baixista.Assim em junho de 2010,Gussan convida Willberlam ex=guitar do Violent ,para tocar baixo e completa a formação de thrash maniacos do DETERRO
